Paul's journey in the construction industry began at the age of 16, following in the footsteps of his older brother Ian. While still in high school, Paul embarked on his carpentry apprenticeship, gaining hands-on experience working alongside Ian at a local construction company. Driven by his passion for building and a dream of establishing his own family-run business, Paul completed high school early and pursued formal carpentry training at Camosun College. In 2009, Paul’s dream came to fruition with the launch of True Home® Construction. Starting with small to medium-sized renovations and collaborating with developers on new home projects, Paul built a solid foundation for his growing company. His commitment to the industry didn’t stop there; in 2011, Paul expanded his expertise by becoming a licensed Realtor. This new role deepened his understanding of construction costs, pricing, and the impact of various construction levels on market value, further enhancing the services True Home® offers. The following year, Paul achieved another milestone by obtaining his Residential Builder’s License, enabling True Home® Construction to build custom residential homes and broaden its scope of offerings. In late 2021, Paul fulfilled a long-held aspiration by reuniting in the workplace with his brother Ian, transforming True Home® into a truly family-run enterprise. Together, Paul and Ian form an unstoppable team, elevating customer care and project excellence to new heights.
